It Takes Two

On December 10, 2011, I participated in Help-Portrait, a movement of photographers who use their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those less fortunate. We took portraits of those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them. It was very exciting! In addition to photographers, there were make-up artists, hairdressers, printers and much more. In this pict, this woman is having her hair done before her portrait. I shot this with a Sony A-100 SLR and a Sony 70-300 telephoto lens. Shutter speed 165; f-stop 5.0.

Lady in Red Gets Red Lips

This lady is having make-up applied, before she has her hair done. She was just one of many men and women who had total makeovers before having their portraits made at Help-Portrait. I shot this with a Sony A-100 and on-camera flash, along with a Sony 70-300 telephoto lens.

Beauty Who Shoots

This woman is beautiful and shoots beautifully, too. A star photographer who gave her time to Help-Portrait. I shot her portrait with a Sony A-100 and a Sony 70-300 telephoto lens. Shutter speed 165mm; f-stop 5.0.

Evin

Evin was a interesting girl with striking blue eyes who was working at Help-Portrait. She turned around and caught my eye, so I shot her picture fast as I could. Shutter speed 165mm; f-stop 5.0.

Requisite Santa

The event, Help-Portrait took place on December 10, so we had to have a Santa Claus! This guy was very jolly and nice. Somehow I managed to shoot his picture against a green background! Shutter speed 125 mm; f-stop 4.5.

Two Little Sweethearts

These little girls were waiting while their mommy was having her portrait done. Food was provided for everyone, both guests and volunteers. I shot this with my Sony A 100 and 70-300mm Sony telephoto lens. Shutter speed: 165 mm; f-stop 5.0.
