The Cehk! The Cehk!

(That's "Cake" to those of you who don't know "Father and the
Bride" with Martin Short)...This particular cake belongs to Kristen
who has married Mojahed. Today is their wedding reception.
I shot this with my Sony A1A camera, using the daylight
coming through the windows. Shutter speed: 30; f-stop: 6.3.

Welcome!

Meet Kristen and Mojahed, the Bride and Groom.
They're standing out on her grandmother's front
porch, to greet their guests. I used my Sony A1A
 to get this shot. Shutter speed: 125; f-stop: 4.5.

Bride and Friends

Kristen and her girlfriends stop chatting long enough for me
to get their picture together. I was able to utilize ambient light
for this shot. Shutter speed: 1/9: f-stop: 4.0.

Groom and Friends

Boys can be so silly. Actually, I love this picture.
I used my on-camera flash...but was lucky there were
no huge shadows behind my subjects. Their heads are
big enough already. Shutter speed: 125; f-stop 5.6.

A Card for the Heart

Kristen and Mojahed read a wedding card
together. I used my on-camera flash;
 you must be careful that it won't create shadows
behind your subjects' heads. Shutter speed: 30;
f-stop: 6.3.

The Bride and Groom go for it! Another set of pots? A totally different
set of pots, mind you! One cannot have enough pots. I shot this with
my Sony A1A, on camera flash and 18-70 zoom lens. Shutter speed:
125; f-stop: 6.3.

Cake Time!

Kristen isn't as kind to Mojahed as he was to her...a picture's worth a thousand words. What fun! Shutter speed: 125; f-stop: 2.3.

Heavenly Kiss

Soft warm kisses before the guests arrive. How precious are they?
I shot this with my Sony 70-300 telephoto lens, so as to blur the
background. Shutter speed: 125; f-stop 4.0.

Love Sits in the Love Seat

The Bride and Groom sit in their favorite spot, her grandmother's love seat on
the beautiful screened-in porch. Love finally sits in the Love Seat! Shutter Speed:
125; f-stop 6.3.

Perfect Portrait

Mojahed and Kristen smile and look perfect for the camera. Have you ever seen a
more attractive couple? I used my Sony 70-300mm Telephoto lens for this shot, in
order to blur the background. Shutter speed: 1/125; f-stop: 5.6.

A Real Kiss

At last, in the midst of the craziness, the couple seals their marriage vows with a long, languid, real kiss. Beyond this reception, they will take wine and food down to the lake and have a romantic, moonlight picnic. Ah, youth.
